Honorary Mention 2023: konS≡PARK—Academy for Contemporary Investigative Art
06. 9. 2023—10. 9. 2023
Navigating the currents of rapid technological advancements, it’s become increasingly evident that the intersection of science and art has the profound potential to reshape our perspectives, our societies, and our global ecosystem. This year, I had the honor of being a part of a project that did precisely that — “konS≡PARK – Academy for Contemporary Investigative Art,” which deservedly received an Honorary Mention in 2023.

konS≡PARK is not just a project but a movement, a beacon of collaborative spirit. It encompasses a network of “creative hubs” sprawled across Slovenia’s cultural tapestry, touching cities like Ljubljana, Velenje, and Maribor. Together, we united artists, scientists, and engineers, rallying towards a singular vision: to spark innovative dialogues on our present and the potential futures that lie ahead. By reaching out especially to the youth, konS≡PARK seeks to be a catalyst, encouraging an inclusive and sustainable approach towards technological tools. The essence of the project was never about finding a faultless solution; it was about the journey of experimentation, of learning through playful curiosity, and embracing innovation.

Being amongst a cohort of amazingly talented artists and visionaries. Our collective contribution to konS≡PARK has been lauded as an exemplary interpretation of “Digital Humanity.” The acclaim it received beautifully encapsulates our mission: to pave the way for the Slovenian education system, offering young minds a space to challenge, reimagine, and inspire perspectives on our evolving world. As Miha Godec, contributing my unique sound artistry to this collective, I am profoundly humbled and inspired to continue pushing the boundaries of what art and technology can achieve together.
